Frog Eye Salad

I swear I have the largest recipe collection in the world! Besides having a cookbook collection, I have acquired recipes through recipe swaps by mail as well as from online recipe sites...where it's free to make a personal recipe box on the sites. Below is a favorite family recipe we use at most holidays.

                                                        FROG EYE SALAD
1 1/3c acini de pepe(uncooked)
1 1/4c milk
2c cool whip
1 can mandarin oranges
1 can pineapple chunks(reserve 1/4c juice)
1 can fruit cocktail
1 sm pkg instant vanilla pudding
2c miniature marshmallows
1/4c sugar
Cook pasta in boiling water for 11 min.  meanwhile, in lg bowl mix milk, reserved juice, pudding, and sugar on med speed for 2 min.  drain fruit well(after saving juice). drain cooked pasta, running cold water over it-drain well.  add fruit, pasta, marshmallows, and cool whip to pudding mixture and mix well.  Cool for up to 4 hrs or overnight before serving.

I DO NOT WANT TO GO INTO SOMETHING ELSE FEELING LIKE I'M DOOMED TO FAIL, JUST BECAUSE I DIDN'T DO MY "HOMEWORK!" SINCE THIS IS A GOD GIVEN CHANCE TO DO SOMETHING REAL, I DON'T WANT TO BLOW IT! ESPECIALLY SINCE GOD IS A GOD OF 2ND CHANCES! EVEN FINANCIAL HELP IS AVAILABLE TO ME NOW, SO I CAN HAVE A NEW START, SO MY LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL IS GETTING BRIGHTER! I'M TOLD THAT I AM TO RESEARCH TO FIND WHATS OUT THERE IN MY FIELD OF INTEREST, AND WORK UP SOMETHING UNIQUE, AS PART OF BEING SUCCESSFUL...THEN FIND THE BEST LOCATION, AND WHAT MY TARGET POPULATION WOULD BE(LIKE HOW SUCCESSFUL I WILL BE...)...ONCE I'M UP AND RUNNING, BELIEVE ME, THE WORLD WILL KNOW, ON NO UNCERTAIN TERMS, THAT I'M OUT THERE...YOU WILL HEAR ME! LOL!

CAN YOU TELL I'M EXCITED ABOUT DOING SOMETHING WITH MY LIFE? ENOUGH OF THE BOREDOM AND MONOTENY OF EVERYDAY LIFE, AND THE POLITICS OF WORKING FOR THE BIG DOGS WHO CONSTANTLY BITE, AND EVER SO HARD!

I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING THE WEB FOR VERY SPECIAL RECIPES THAT I CAN SERVE TO MY COMMUNITY WHEN I AM ABLE TO OPEN FOR BUSINESS, BE IT OUT OF THE HOME OR IN A SEPARATE BUILDING. I AM SO EXCITED TO WELCOME FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND FUTURE FRIENDS TO A DOSE OF WARMTH AND HOSPITALITY! YES, EVEN THOSE IN NEED ARE WELCOME TO PARTAKE! I HAVE SOMETHING SPECIAL IN STORE TO COOK UP FOR EVERYONE! WE ARE ALL GODS CREATURES, AND ARE TO BE TREATED AS SUCH! I KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO HAVE, AND TO ALSO BE WITHOUT AND HAVE TO RELY ON OTHERS, SO ITS ABOUT TIME TO GIVE BACK!

GOD HAS GIVEN ME A DESIRE, HE HAS GIVEN ME HOPE, AND I PRAY THAT HIS DIRECTION FOR MY LIFE BECOMES MORE OBVIOUS AS I JOURNEY INTO A NEW LAND, WITH SOMETHING TO OFFER TO YOU!

Some of what I want to do is somehow help our local homeless people as part of what my business will be about...I will do raffles, so I can afford to provide them food, as well as blankets, shoes and clothes...The GOLDEN RULE is what I will do my best to live by...I am looking forward to fulfilling my niche in life, since it has taken me long enough to find a place in this world, and not be such an outcast or 5th wheel...I feel as if God answered my biggest prayer...I can help others as well as make a living doing what I love, and using the gifts He has given me!

FAITH is like the wind...you can't see it, but you know its there!

what is faith? it is believing in the presence of things unseen...but it is also what brings unexplainable peace, joy and contentment in times of uphieval...some think Gods timing should be OUR timing when it comes to prayer, and wanting a yes answer...and RIGHT NOW, I might add! What if God answers no, and in HIS time, and for our best interest? He realizes the difference between "want" and "need." ALTHOUGH...there is a verse that talks about God giving us the desires of our heart, but there is a difference between evil desires and Godly desires...do u think He will honor our prayer if we want a million bucks by tomorrow, to go spend as we please? Hmmmm! What about a desire for Him, and what HE wants for us?

God is the one that brings to me this desire to run a homebased business that puts Him in charge, so I may use the gifts He gave me...hospitality, mercy, and a desire to help the homeless in some way...which are all desires of MY heart, and HIS as well...because I prayed for His direction for my life!

Introduction

For the past 10 years, I have wanted to start my own home based business! Well...I just now get that chance, if I play my cards right, because I got accepted to get help in getting started! Since I am 52 years old, better late than never, so they say! As I say in the title of my other blog, I am "The Late Bloomer!"

Once I get going, I hope to set up a bakery type business, offering some good old fashioned hospitality with a different twist(more later on this )! I am sooo excited, because I have always felt like a misfit without a niche! MORE TO COME...
